The Pirate Alliance is a group of criminals who have been wreaking havoc in the Wakasa region. Among these outlaws is a man named Lopo Cruz. Lopo can be quite difficult to reach depending on the path you take to get to him.

Finding him might be harder than actually beating him in a fight (or assassinating him). Fortunately, this guide will give you the easiest way to reach and kill Lopo Cruz.

How To Find Lopo Cruz in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

Lopo is part of the Pirate Alliance quest, in which you have to defeat the 5 members of the Pirate Alliance. This quest is found in the Wakasa Region and will be given to you by Shido, the Biwa master. After you have eliminated the Fox, Shido will ask you to put a stop to the outlaws pillaging Wakasa.

Cruz will be at the North of the Shattered Coast in Nariu’s Lair. He will be hiding on a ship in the strait between the mainland and the small island.
You can get to this ship via the mainland or by sea. However, taking the land route is much more difficult and will have many more enemies. An easier way is to use a boat to get to Lopo’s ship. It is easy to avoid the enemies on surrounding ships, and even if they see you, they won’t catch you.

Oshouo Point is very close to Nariu’s Lair, and you can use a boat from there to get to Lopo in around a minute. From there, it’s just a matter of killing him.

How Do You Beat Lopo Cruz in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

Although Lopo is quite a high-level enemy, defeating him is incredibly easy. As he is all alone on his ship, you can easily sneak aboard and assassinate him.

Although this might not be enough to kill him, his health will become quite low. So, you can proceed to fight him for the remainder of his health. You will still want to be careful because there’s not much space to maneuver on the ship.

Killing Lopo Cruz awards you with the legendary Ocean’s Grip Kusarigama. This weapon can deal 60% damage to enemies over 3 meters away.
