How To Complete Harima’s Peak (Kuji-Kiri) in Assassin’s Creed Shadows?

Travel to Harima’s Peak in Assassin’s Creed Shadows to complete the Kuji-Kiri meditation and earn Knowledge Points.

Kuji-Kiri is a form of meditative prayer that translates to “cutting the nine syllables.” In Assassin’s Creed Shadows, Kuji-Kiri is a Naoe-exclusive activity that involves a sequence of quick-time events. There are a total of 22 Kuji-Kiri locations, and Harima’s Peak is one of the two Kuji-Kiri locations in the Harima region. Players may find this location difficult to discover due to its isolation from other landmarks in Harima.

Here’s a guide to help you find Harima’s Peak Kuji-Kiri location and complete it in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.

Harima’s Peak Kuji-Kiri Location in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

The Harima’s Peak Kuji-Kiri spot is in the northwestern sector of the Harima region in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. Moreover, it is in a very secluded spot directly to the west of Mount Kasagata. Harima’s Peak is west of the Kaya Shrine and northwest of the Nagusano Falls. The location of the spot is depicted in the image above.

You can start from the Inariyama Watchtower viewpoint and head directly west. Use the pathfinder function and place a marker on the Kuji-Kiri spot. Doing so creates a path that you can follow directly to Harima’s Peak. The Kuji-Kiri location is at the mountain’s peak, overlooking the Kaya Shrine.

How To Complete Harima’s Peak Kuji-Kiri in AC Shadows

Once you reach the mountain peak, interact with the ground to initiate the Kuji-Kiri meditation. The objective of this minigame is to press the four buttons that appear on the screen in the correct sequence. Additionally, you must time your button presses precisely when the white circle completely closes in. Here’s the sequence in which you need to press the buttons:

• Top > Right > Bottom > Left

Keep in mind that the tempo of the sequence progressively increases. Additionally, the button indicators slowly fade away, requiring you to press the buttons based on rhythm. If you wish to simplify the process, Ubisoft has included a setting to automate quick-time events. Here’s how you can activate it:

• Options > Gameplay > Quick Time Events > Auto

Activating this setting won’t affect the story, and you will still unlock achievements and trophies related to Kuji-Kiri.

Harima’s Peak Kuji-Kiri Rewards

Like most other Kuji-Kiri locations, Naoe obtains 550 EXP and one Knowledge Point upon completing Harima’s Peak Kuji-Kiri. You can also visit the Kaya Shrine to the east to pray and earn an additional Knowledge Point.
