How To Find and Defeat Shishi-o in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

Naoe will face a variety of dangerous opponents while pursuing the different missions in the game. In one of these missions, dubbed the Hunters of Kyonyo, she will face off against an unknown organization. She will need to kill every member of the organization to complete the mission. One of those members will be The Interrogator, named Shishi-o.

In this guide, we’ll explain how you can find Shishi-o in Assassin’s Creed Shadows and ultimately take him down.

How To Find Shishi-o in Assassin’s Creed Shadows?

During your time as Naoe, you’ll come across a man named Kennyo. He says that he worries for his son, Kyonyo’s life, as the latter is being tracked by bounty hunters. Kennyo tasks Naoe with the mission of killing all of the hunters after his son. This will begin the Hunters of Kyonyo quest.

After you’ve uncovered the quest, you will need to visit the southern portion of Kumano Sanzan. There, you’ll find an area named Kii. This is where you’ll first have to take down one of the bounty hunters, named Inumaru. Next, after a bit more of information gathering, you’ll find out the next target’s name, Kamakichi. Assassinate him, and you’ll then be off to find Kyonyo and gather information about the rest of the hunters after him. He will finally give you a location for Shishi-o.

Head to the eastern portion of Kii to find Shishi-o. The closest fast travel point is the Mount Takayama location on the map. You can use scouts to discover his exact location or go searching the general area on your own.

How To Defeat Shishi-o in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

As you near the location, you’ll discover Shishi-o standing over a group of civilians. He seems to be threatening or harming them in some way. You can easily climb up behind him. If you approach stealthily, he doesn’t turn around. Even though you won’t kill him outright, perform an assassination move on him to take out a major chunk of his health.

After the assassination attempt, make sure to quickly go in for the attack. Shishi-o is armed with dual blades, and he can be quick on the attack. Throw a couple of kunai at him to stagger him and then finish him off with a barrage of strikes.

After you slay the target, you’ll receive an epic bargain, named Traitor’s Bargain, and an engraving that provides health on kill. You’ll also get a quest-related document that will provide further clues about the Hunters of Kyonyo quest.
