In this guide, we shall go over how to find and defeat the Corrupt Blade in Assassin’s Creed Shadows, one of the eight Kabukimono.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows brings in a ton of new features and revamps its mechanics, the most notable of which is seen in the stealth, which is now slow and deliberate, rewarding patience and a well-thought-out strategy. To supplement this vast improvement in stealth, AC Shadows has added a plethora of targets for you to assassinate. As you run through this list, the Corrupt Blade is one target that will inevitably end up on the tip of your blade.
Part of the Kabukimono ronin that are slaughtering innocents by the dozen, the Corrupt Blade is a ronin that has earned his title. As an Assassin, it is up to you to bring forth justice and put this monster down once and for all. But the task is easier said than done, as the Corrupt Blade is in hiding, no doubt guarded by his group. With very little information to go on and a battalion to face once you do, this is a tricky target.
In this guide, we shall go over how to find and defeat the Corrupt Blade in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.

Where To Find the Corrupt Blade in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

To find the Corrupt Blade, you first need to eliminate the first batch of Kabukimono targets. These targets include Big Sueki, Ember, Grave Dancer, Ghost General, and the Chief Cuckoo. Once all five are dealt with, you’ll learn that the Kabukimono were looking to expand and added three new ronin to their ranks. You then have the choice to gather these targets in one location for one clean swoop or hunt them down one by one.
If you choose to gather them up, you will find the trio in a lumberyard south of Takagi Otsuka Fort (southeastern end of Harima). If you choose to hunt them down one by one, they are spread across different locations of the Harima region, with the Corrupt Blade residing in the Habayama Camp. This camp is right next to the Mount Haba viewpoint.

How To Assassinate the Corrupt Blade in Assassin’s Creed Shadows?

If you choose to go after the Corrupt Blade solo, you will find him in the Habayama Camp. This is a standard camp with several enemies on guard. Pick off the guards one at a time and isolate your target to finish him off once and for all. This is a fairly standard affair and not quite that exciting. Instead, we recommend gathering the trio and finishing off the remnants of the Kabukimono in one go.
While the thought of taking on a trio of ronin may seem daunting, you’ll be flanked by warriors in this case. The trio stands together, so throw in a smoke bomb and rush in to deal massive damage. It is important to ensure that you are appropriately leveled up. The trio WILL overwhelm you if you’re not up to par.
The Ronin has slow and predictable swings that can be dodged easily. Stay quick on your toes and deploy smoke bombs if things get too difficult. Finish off the Corrupt Blade and the other targets to complete the objective.
