How To Find and Defeat The Golden Teppo in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

Assassins’ Creed Shadows puts you against The Golden Teppo. Here’s the best way to find and defeat the Onryo.

The second major boss in the Onryo in Assassin’s Creed Shadows is Wakasa. She is also popular as The Golden Teppo because it is her primary weapon. Wakasa used the Golden Teppo to shoot Naoe during their interaction in the prologue and is part of the Shinbakufu group that killed her father. Now, Naoe gets her shot at revenge.

This time around, you will have to head to Imai Sokyu for the tea ceremony. Naoe will be attending a tea ceremony in Izumi Settsu. Three women are interested in handling a Teppo. Turns out, one of them is Wakasa, The Golden Teppo. Putting her down rewards the players with the Shinobi’s Fury Legendary Tanto.

Where To Find The Golden Teppo in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

Since this is part of the main story questline, Rikyu will have taught you everything you need to know about the Tea Ceremony and the Tea Ettiquetes. Stick to his teachings to ensure the smooth success of this mission. When you have the chance to pick the suspect, you can safely choose Wakasa. This will allow you to eliminate her before she gets away.

However, if you end up choosing somebody else, you can still hunt her down. But this time a few more steps get added. For example, Wakasa will run to the Osaka Castle. This is where you will find her. In our experience, she will be standing in the open, atop a big building slope. So, there will be a lot of easy ways to get here.

How To Kill Wasaka in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

The mission Defensive Position will bring you closer to your objective of assassinating Wakasa. Once you reach Osaka Castle, you will find this building relatively easily and also be able to locate your target quite quickly using Observation or Eagle Vision. When you finally find the building as shown in the image above, simply sneak up behind The Golden Teppo and assassinate her. Staying silent will help you get your job done faster. There is only one guard nearby that might spot you getting this kill. So, we recommend that you take him out first. Open combat may prove time-consuming and is not part of the story like The Ox assassination mission.
