Discover the exact location of the Tsutsui Agent in Assassin’s Creed Shadows and the best way to eliminate him.
The Tsutsui Agent is one of five targets to assassinate in the Kurai Eikyou side quest in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. The Kurai Eikyou is a nefarious group of individuals that hide in the shadows of Yamato. Their goals are shrouded in mystery, but they have certainly been causing panic among the locals.
Completing the Kurai Eikyou side quest is a quick way to earn high-level gear and stock up on Mastery Points. Assassinating the Tsutsui Agent will reward you with 2,000 XP, 2 Mastery Points, and a legendary weapon matching the quest level. Furthermore, assassinating all five targets and completing the Kurai Eikyou side quest will earn you the Whisper of Muramasa – Legendary Long Katana.
Where to Find the Tsutsui Agent in Assassin’s Creed Shadows
The Tsutsui Agent oversees the teppo training of Koriyama Castle guards in the Retainers’ Quarters. Koriyama Castle is located in the Yamato region north of Katsuragi. Open the Objective Board and head over to the Kurai Eikyou targets. Select the Tsutsui Agent to track his location. The information provided will say that he:
- Is in northwest Yamato
- Operates in Koriyama
You can use a scout to pinpoint his exact location or find it marked on the map image provided.
How to Defeat the Tsutsui Agent
The Tsutsui Agent can be a tough target to hunt. As a warrior, the agent is easy to defeat. Yet, hiding behind the fortifications of Koriyama Castle, he may be difficult to reach. However, you can use the same fortifications to your advantage, cutting a path straight to him. Naoe is best suited to carry out the assassination.
- Approach the Koriyama Castle from the northeastern entrance and climb the corner tower.
- Avoid patrol routes and move along the wall to the west.
- Sneak along the boundary of the Retainers’ Quarters until you are halfway through.
- Use Heightened Senses to locate the Tsutsui Agent. He should be to your left past the barracks, standing next to two guards training with teppos.
- Jump on top of the barrack from the wall and position yourself above him.
- Perform an assassination using the high ground, which will likely insta-kill him. The mission is complete.
- Escape the castle the same way you entered.
