How To Find and Pray at Kumano Hayatama Taisha in Assassin’s Creed Shadows?

Shrines give you temporary buffs before a big battle. Here is how to pray at the Kumano Hayatama Taisha Shrine in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.

Since Assassin’s Creed Shadows is based in Japan, there will be lots of shrines across the map. The Kumano Hayatama Taisha is one such shrine you can visit and pray at. Here, you can pray to receive temporary buffs. These buffs will come in handy during a long combat section that might be approaching or a difficult assassination mission.

Where To Find Kumano Hayatama Taisha in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

This shrine is located at the edge of the map in the Kii region. First, you should head towards the easternmost point in the Kii region, where you should be able to find the shrine located below the big river in the area.

The exact location is shown on the map above. Alternatively, if you have already found the Kamikura Shrine, you can go north from there to find Kumano Hayatama Taisha. The entire structure will be visible on the map if you zoom in.

Where To Pray at the Kumano Hayatama Taisha in AC Shadows

Once you are inside, you can use the Observe feature to locate the three praying spots. These will be marked in an orb of light, so finding them should not be too much of a challenge.

Two spots will be out in the open, while one of them will be inside a structure. First, you will notice a line of similar-looking structures, where the first praying spot will be.

The second spot will be behind you, still in the courtyard; however, it will face the opposite side from the first one. Use the Observe feature, and you will notice a glow on the stone-lined path.

Your final praying location will be quite close to the second one. Face the same direction as when you prayed here, and turn a little bit to the right. You will see a turn that goes inside a structure. Again, you can use the Observe feature if you are unsure about your location.

Lastly, head inside this structure and pray at the final spot to complete the Kumano Hayatama Taisha Shrine in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. Completing this shrine will get you 550 XP and a knowledge point, along with a temporary buff.
