Where To Find A Thousand Cuts Bow in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

You can obtain the A Thousand Cuts Bow by eliminating Akumu as part of the Winter Raiders quest board, which appears only in Winter. The questline revolves around finding and assassinating a group of veteran warriors turned marauders, who cause trouble to villages during Winter. Akumu is one of the five targets of the Winter Raiders side quest, and she excels in archery.  

She operates in the Kii province during Winter and is located along the central Nakahechi Route. Look for a camp at the top of a small hill, where she is found along with a few other enemies. Killing the raider Akumu rewards you with the A Thousand Cuts Bow and the Knock Down Shot Engraving. 

How To Use A Thousand Cuts Bow in AC Shadows

A Thousand Cuts is a Legendary Bow with a unique perk and an empty Engraving slot, much like the other Legendary weapons. While it is effective for stealth attacks from a safe distance, its unique perk further enhances its utility. Shooting at an enemy’s legs will knock them down, providing a tactical advantage for finishing them easily. It also allows you to escape effectively from a group of enemies by knocking them down.
