In Baldur’s Gate 3, Armour of Persistence is an expensive heavy armour, that you can get from Dammon in Act 3 – this short Guide Explains everything you need to know about Armour of Persistence in BG3.
Armour of Persistence
In Baldur’s Gate 3, The Armour of Persistence is a heavy armour from Damon in Act 3. The Magical Plate bonus on the Armour of Persistence reduces all incoming damage by 2, making you tougher to take down.
With the Legendary Persistence bonus, you get Resistance, meaning you take less damage from all sources, and Blade Ward, which helps you withstand Bludgeoning, Piercing, and Slashing attacks by only taking half of the damage.
Additionally, the Resistance cantrip makes you more resistant to spell effects and conditions, giving you a +1d4 bonus to Saving Throws. However, there’s a trade-off – you’ll have Disadvantage on Stealth Checks, so be mindful of your approach.
For main characters who are Paladins or Fighters, as you progress into Act 3, consider upgrading your armor, to the Armour of Persistence, and later with the Helldusk Armor. You can equip it to your character’s chest slot in the inventory. The user needs Heavy Armour proficiency or suffers penalties while wearing the armour.

How to Get Armour of Persistence in Baldur’s Gate 3
In Baldur’s Gate 3, you acquire the Armour of Persistence by locating Dammon in Lower City (X: 2 Y: -6) during Act 3 and purchasing it from him for 19,840 Gold. Dammon must survive the previous acts for him to reach Baldur’s Gate city, and you need to complete the Saving the Grove quest in Act 1.
In Act 3 Dammon opened a new forge in the Forge of the Nine on the north side of Baldur’s Gate City (X: 2 Y: -6). From where you enter the city, through the Basilisk Gate, head to the west. When you reach Sorcerous Sundries, go straight to the north. You will find a building with a forge on the elevated terrace and Dammon, who sells the Armour of Persistence, among other fantastic gear items.
You can also catch up with him during events and learn about what happened to him between acts two and three. Gather some gossip and information about other notable NPC characters from the game.
