The Callous Glow Ring gives you the ability to deal more Radiant damage, and you can find it in Act 2 of Baldur’s Gate 3 (BG3).
Callous Glow Ring
In Baldur’s Gate 3, the Callous Glow Ring is an accessory that can deal extra Radiant damage against your target. The Callous Glow perk means that the wearer will deal an additional 2 points of damage against creatures that are illuminated. Although the tooltip doesn’t specify, when used in game the extra damage dealt is Radiant.
Consequently, this accessory works really well with a weapon such as The Blood of Lathander or the Moonlight Glaive. Each of these weapons give off their own source of light, thus automatically fulfilling the conditions for illumination. Moreover, both deal Radiant damage themselves, so these equipment pieces synergize nicely.
Additionally, this extra damage can apply to spells that hit targets more than once. For example, each hit from Magic Missile or Scorching Ray will deal the extra 2 points of Radiant damage.

How to Get Callous Glow Ring in Baldur’s Gate 3
To get the Callous Glow Ring in Baldur’s Gate 3, you need to find the Gauntlet of Shar in Act 2, make your way through to the Vault Doors outside of Balthazar’s Rooms and loot it from one of the Opulent Chests inside. After getting through the Grand Mausoleum and finding your way into the Gauntlet of Shar, you’ll encounter the first puzzle just beyond the entrance. To complete this puzzle you need to get one of your characters over to the gem pedestal by the statue to activate it so all of your party can safely cross the room. The easiest way to do this is simply using a character with the Misty Step spell. Teleport over and the problem is immediately solved.
From here, head north and then turn west. At the end of this hallway you’ll come into another open room, and you should be able to see some skeletons and glowing purple lights on the other side. Don’t cross this space just yet because it will trigger a fight. Just hug the wall and head to the Vault Doors on the north.
You will have to pass a 30 DC Sleight of Hand check in order to be able to open these doors. You’ll need a Rogue-like character with high Dexterity and several boosts like Guidance and Combat Inspiration to be successful.
Inside, you’ll find three Opulent Chests, none of which are individually locked. Open the one on the far right-hand side to find the Callous Glow Ring.
