How To Get Cerulean Guise Mask in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

The Cerulean Guise Mask is a reward in the Awakening Projects battle pass. Here’s the information on how to get it in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.

The Shadows Projects contains two projects that have numerous rewards for both Yasuke and Naoe. So, each project offers rewards focused on a specific character, but also provides rewards for the other character as well. One of them is the Cerulean Guise Mask, a helmet item for Yasuke present in the Awakening Projects.

The two projects currently present in-game (might be more in the future with the expansion) are the Legacy Projects and the Awakening Projects. You can only do one project at a time.

To progress the Shadows Projects, you need to unlock the Animus in-game, and the Shadows Projects too. You unlock the Animus at the start of the game. However, the Shadows Projects are unlocked after you go through an Animus breach, a glitchy portal that takes you out of the immersion of Japan. You will spot one a few hours naturally into the game.

The closest one in the early game is east of Amagasaki Castle in Izumi Settsu, in a small dirt patch. It might take you a bit of time to unlock the Shadows Projects pass, as the animus breach is found a few hours into the game.

You obtain the Cerulean Guise Mask after completing Rank 9 in the Awakening Projects part of the pass. It is a helmet piece for Yasuke that provides defensive capabilities and a special perk. The mask’s special perk +50% chance to loot rations from dead bodies provides Yasuke with more probability for better drop rates from enemies (rations.) These rations are fundamental to the game as they are a source of healing for Yasuke during his aggressive duels with the enemies.

How To Rank Up in the Shadows Projects

You can rank up in Shadows Projects by collecting Data Fragments. The best way to do that is by completing Anomalies — quests that are spread throughout the Assassin’s Creed Shadows’ map. They are limited in number and have varying quests. Every week, you receive about 600-900 Data Fragments that help you rank up the Shadows Projects pass. If you fail to complete the quests, the data fragments refresh, and you will not receive the rewards for that week.
