How to Get the Daredevil Gloves in BG3?
To get the Daredevil Gloves in BG3 you must find Crèche Y’llek underneath the Rosymorn Monastery and then trade with the Githyanki merchant A’jak’nir Jeera.
Step 1- Find Crèche Y’llek in Rosymourn Monastery
First, use the Mountain Pass exit in the northwest of the main Act 1 map to find the Rosymourn Monastery Trail. However, we do not recommend doing this before you are a level 4 or 5 because there are some strong enemies and important story events. Moreover, if you leave the main Act 1 map before resolving the Druid Grove and Goblin Camp conflict, then you can be locked out of certain side quests.
After arriving on the Rosymorn Monastery Trail, keep heading north and then east until you find the ruins of the monastery. Here you can begin the steps you need to complete to find The Blood of Lathander. Furthermore, the entrance to the Crèche will be found underneath the monastery through some broken holes in the floor. You should bring Lae’zel with you if you recruited her earlier because she will make it easier to get inside.
Step 2- Find A’jak’nir Jeera inside the Crèche
After getting past the guards, you should be able to freely move around the Crèche. Next, you can find the Githyanki quartermaster A’jak’nir Jeera to the south of the Crèche Y’llek waypoint. Furthermore, you should prioritize going to her first and taking a look at her inventory because certain story events may eventually make her unavailable. She will have the Daredevil Gloves for sale and you can buy it for 432 gold.
How to Use Daredevil Gloves in BG3?
The best way to use the Daredevil Gloves in BG3 is by equipping them to a spellcaster class like Sorcerers, Wizards, Druids, and even Clerics. The main trait bonus will passively give a +1 bonus to all spell attack rolls. All you have to do is wear the gloves to receive this attack boost.
The Daredevil Proximity requires a more active strategy during battle. Most of the time, you want to make sure that physically weaker spellcaster classes are kept out of melee range in battle. However, this isn’t always possible, especially when you’re fighting larger groups of enemies. Daredevil Proximity allows you to take advantage of this, and cast range spells as melee spells. Generally, this will give you higher attack rolls. However, this won’t always be the case, so you’ll have to be knowledgeable about the attack power of the spells you are casting and toggle Daredevil Proximity on and off depending on the situation.
