Alongside destructive melee combat, Yasuke has versatile ranged options, including the Bow and Teppo. While Assassin’s Creed Shadows features an array of various weapon types, the Teppo is the only firearm among them. This flint rifle allows Yasuke to strike his enemies with more destructive power from a long distance. The Dark Burst is one of the Legendary Teppos in Assassin’s Creed, which can be obtained by defeating a specific character in a side quest. Here is how to do it.

Where To Find Dark Burst Teppo in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

The Dark Burst Teppo can be acquired by duelling Asari Nobutane as a part of the Nobutsuna’s Students quest board. The questline follows Yasuke’s search for his sensei’s students across various regions and challenges them to learn unique skills from them.

After talking with a Teppo merchant at Negoroji, you will learn that Asari Nobutane is located at a nearby bamboo grove in Negoroji. You will find Asari Nobutane east of the Gato Guard Post in the Kii region. Speak to him to initiate a duel with the master of Teppo. The entire battle is Teppo-exclusive, making it feel like an action shooter. Upon defeating Asari Nobutane, you will receive the Dark Burst Teppo along with the Teppo Multishot Engrave.

How To Use Dark Burst Teppo in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

While Teppos are often overshadowed by Bows in ranged fights, they have certain advantages such as longer range and high damage power. If you prefer a Teppo-based build, the Dark Burst is a great option, especially in close-range encounters. Its unique perk allows it to shoot multiple bullets in a single shot, dealing significantly greater damage and making it more effective during combat. Since the Teppo has the drawback of a slower reload time, this perk compensates for it by greatly enhancing its power in a single shot.
