How to Get Gauntlet of the Tyrant in Baldur’s Gate 3
You can get Gauntlet of the Tyrant from Gortash in Act 3 and find him in his office atop the Wyrm’s Rock Fortress (X: -21 Y: 203). Defeating Enver Gortash is a part of the Get Gortash’s Netherstone main quest in Baldur’s Gate 3.

Wyrm’s Rock Fortress is a stronghold north of the Rivington area, where you start Act 3. It’s the only Baldur’s Gate City entrance, so that you won’t miss it. Also, that’s where you meet Gortash in person for the first time. During your first meeting, you will probably not be able to get the crossbow yet. You can attack everyone, including the Steel Watchers, but it will be a hard fight, and we advise you to deactivate the constructs before you attempt to defeat Gortash and get his nethersone and Gauntlet of the Tyrant. Completing the Disable the Watchers Quests will also grant you Legendary Gontr Mael, the best bow in the game.
Find Gortash Office
Once you’ve successfully disabled the Steel Watchers and located Gortash, head into the Wyrm’s Rock Fortress Audience Hall (X: 25 Y: 212). Upon entering the stronghold, all guards will turn hostile and come after you. However, with the constructs out of commission, dealing with them shouldn’t pose much of a challenge. Enhance your combat strategy by utilizing crowd control abilities, like the command or sleep spell, and tools, like ice arrows, to make the task even more manageable.

After defeating everyone, look for the passageway behind the door in the northwest corner of the Audience Hall (X: -15 Y: 229). There are more entrances to the top of the Wyrm’s Rock Fortress, but this one is the easiest to find. Gortash’s office is the only room on the top.
Defeat Gortash To Get the Gauntlet of the Tyrant
Upon reaching Gortash’s location, you’ll encounter Gortash himself, along with four guards and a room laden with wall traps in both chambers. Use range weapons to shoot the traps in advance; they have low hit points. Be cautious of the Grenade Impeller, as it drops grenades around your team while the other two guards focus on buffing and recharging Gortash. Act swiftly to eliminate as many traps as possible and disrupt the other guards’ support of Gortash.

Gortash has over 350 hit points and exhibits resistance or immunity to nearly every attack, so it’s wise to refrain from targeting him in the initial turn. Instead, consider taking a potion of speed or casting a haste spell on your characters to maximize the advantages of the first turn. Focus on eliminating or stunning all guards accompanying him during this crucial initial round.
He will also apply special shields to himself and other enemies that reflect projectiles, so avoid direct attacks when that happens. However, you can safely cast AoE spells around them. Gortash will be the most challenging enemy to defeat. He has few special attacks, but if you successfully destroy all traps and kill guards, now focus all your team’s strengths to take him down.

After you kill him, you can finally get Gauntlet of the Tyrant (Netherstone-Studded Gauntlet), Cloth of Authority, Fabricated Arbalest crossbow, and Gortash Netherstone from his body in Baldur’s Gate 3!
How to Use the Gauntlet of the Tyrant in BG3
The Gauntlet of the Tyrant deals additional force damage with unarmed attacks, making it an excellent choice for the Monk class. Additionally, you gain a +1 bonus to spell save and the command spell. The command is a level 1 Enchantment Spell, fantastic for controlling the battlefield. You can force someone to drop their weapon and pick it up, weakening their attacks. Another fantastic command variation is the grovel, which can exclude the most dangerous enemy on the battlefield. They will skip their turn when you cast the command: grovel spell on them.
