Baldur's Gate 3 Boat to Travel to Grymforge from the Underdark

To get the Intransigent Warhammer in Baldur’s Gate 3 you will need to initiate combat with the other boat while riding the Duergar skiff to the Grymforge, and open the Watertight Chest on the enemy boat during the fight. First you’ll need to find your way into the Underdark during Act 1. There are several access points but we recommend using the Well in the center of the Blighted Village. Go down the well into the Whispering Depths, find the glowing green chasm and defeat the Phase Spider Matriarch, then cast Feather Fall and jump into the glowing hole. Then you’ll be down in the Underdark.

BG3 How to Get to Grymforge

Within the Underdark you will be looking for the Decrepit Village. There will be a beach and some small docks where you can find a Duergar boat. To use it you will either have to defeat the Duergar stationed in the village, or find the Boots of Speed for them.

Then, once you board the boat you will automatically start to travel to the Grymforge. On the way, you will be intercepted by another boat with Duergar who will question you. If you initiate combat, a fight will start between the two groups across the water. Choose a party member with decent Athletics and have them jump across to the other boat on the far left end. There you will find a Watertight Chest. It is not locked or trapped and you can easily open it to get the Intransigent Warhammer.
