How To Get Oni’s Fury Trinket in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

Find the Oni’s Fury legendary trinket to receive one of the most overpowered engravings in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.

Trinkets are gear items exclusive to Naoe that boost her stats and are fundamental for a strong build. The rarest of trinkets found in Assassin’s Creed Shadows are of the legendary variety, which are hidden across the map. Oni’s Fury (legendary trinket) is the perfect item to make Naoe a powerhouse in the early game. The trinket boosts her health by 16.5%, vulnerable damage by 27%, and adrenaline gain by 40%. 

However, what makes it especially useful early on is its pre-equipped legendary engraving. The Damage for Non-Legendary Gear engraving provides a 15% damage increase for each piece of non-legendary gear Naoe has equipped. As you start the story in Izumi Settsu, this engraving can increase your attack damage by 75% at the earliest stage of the game. Moreover, since Oni’s Fury has another engraving slot available, you can add another bonus to customize your build. 

Oni’s Fury Trinket Location in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

To find the Oni’s Fury trinket, discover the Teratsutsuki Den and loot its legendary chest. The Teratsutsuki Den is a hideout for a group of local criminals in Kawachi Heights. However, it isn’t a large outpost, and you will only have to contend with a few enemies. You can find Teratsutsuki Den in the hilly forest just east of Eboshigata Hachiman Shrine. If you haven’t discovered any of these locations, travel southeast from Osaka, and you will encounter them before reaching the border of Izumi Settsu. 

Teratsutsuki Den

The nearest fast-travel locations to Teratsutsuki Den are the Makinoodera Lookout Viewpoint and Kawachi Heights Kakurega. After arriving at either, travel southeast past the Eboshigata Hachiman Shrine. Approaching Teratsutsuki Den, you will spot a partially burnt-out house with three bandits camping in front of it. 

The enemies are fairly low-level and can be defeated easily using stealth or in a head-on fight. Enter the ruined house to find the Teratsutsuki Den Legendary Chest. Loot the chest to receive Oni’s Fury (legendary trinket) and Damage for Non-Legendary Gear (legendary engraving). The engraving can be slotted into a non-legendary trinket or any other gear with engraving slots available for its full effect. In addition to the legendary chest, you can also find crops right outside the house and a small chest in the adjoining one.
