Some of these are tied to specific missions, and you can only unlock them when completing said quests. The Phantom Fist Kanabo is one such legendary gear that you’ll get as a quest reward.

How To Find the Phantom Fist Kanabo in Assassin’s Creed Shadows?

You will get your hands on this particular kanabo during Nobutsuna’s Students questline. In this quest, Nobutsuna, Yasuke’s former mentor, will send him to learn more about various weapons from some of his students. One of those students is a man named Hozoin In’ei. You can find him in Yamato. Once you begin the quest, the marker will appear on the map, so locating him shouldn’t be too difficult.

After a bit of dialogue, you’ll have to face him in a duel. It’s a challenging boss fight that will require you to quickly evade the red glowing kanabo attacks from Hozoin. If you manage to defeat him, you’ll finally get your hands on the Phantom Fist Kanabo.

How To Use the Phantom Fist Kanabo in AC Shadows

The legendary kanabo comes with an engraving that lets the weapon attack quicker with the Charge posture. Basically, if you’re trying to deal more damage to your enemy and hold down the attack button for a heavy attack, this Kanabo ensures that such attacks don’t take as long to charge. It reduces the opening that enemies get when you’re readying to unleash a charge attack on them.

Also, you can further improve the weapon through an additional engraving of your choice, which can make it even deadlier.
