The Quest Progression

Obtaining the Shinobi’s Fury Tanto is fairly easy and obtainable in the early part of the game. Here are the steps:

• You have to play through the prologue chapters first and reach Act 1. Under the Objectives tab, you will have to go through the Onryo quests from here on.

• In Act 1, there is a chapter named the Tea Ceremony. This chapter takes you to a tea ceremony where you have to follow certain etiquettes and answer questions or perform the correct action. If you answer or act out 4 out of 5 questions while your identity is preserved or revealed, there will be two different quests. Also, do not worry, as the earlier choices made during The Perfect Gift chapter will have no consequences here.

• Confronting Otama while revealed or preserved will open the Defensive Position quest. This leads you to assassinating Otama first, then Wakasa in the Osaka Castle.

• Confronting Wakasa while your identity is preserved will trigger the Drive the Point Home quest. Wakasa leads you to her home. Inside the house you will find clues related to her real identity, and upon knowing, Naoe will assassinate Wakasa.

• You will receive the Shinobi’s Fury Tanto once you complete the above-mentioned quests.
