How To Get the Test Your Might Trophy in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

Champion your way through the tournament and unlock the Test Your Might trophy in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.

Assassin’s Creed is a massive open-world game requiring a lot of travelling and exploring. This is one of the reasons players tend to use the fast travel option to reach active quests quicker.

This is also a big reason why a lot of players could miss out on side quests available on immediate paths. Let us look at one such example and a quick way of unlocking the Test Your Might trophy in Assassin’s Creed.

Requirements for the Trophy

To start the mission, you will first need to meet an NPC, who will then give you details of the tournament. First, exit your hideout from the right side, follow the road, and take another right. Continue following the path till you cross a stone bridge. Continue on the path till you reach the shore of a lake.

Right in front of the lake, you will see an NPC named Gyoji with a blip on his head, indicating that you can speak to him. After you speak with him, you will receive the Tournament Invitation quest item and also unlock the Tournament quest.

How To Unlock the Test Your Might Trophy in Assassin’s Creed Shadows?

Switch to Yasuke and use him as your primary character for this quest. Since the mission is all about brute strength and less about stealth, he would be more effective than Naoe. The tournament will be held in Ominesanji Temple in the region of Yamato. Once you reach Ominesanji Temple, look for a blue blip on your screen located on a bell. Interacting with this will begin the tournament.

You will face five opponents throughout the tournament. It is also recommended that you be at least over level 30. The fourth challenge is the toughest of all, as the opponent is much quicker and deals excessive damage. Use your abilities and weapon effects conveniently and complete all five challenges. Once you complete the tournament, you will be rewarded with two rewards, namely:

1. Vengeful Foe – Naginata
2. Buildup After Parry – Engraving

A cutscene triggers straight after, in which we will speak with Gyoji. Once the cutscene ends, the Test Your Might trophy unlocks.
