Dyeing your items in Minecraft is a useful method to represent a color of your choice. While many items have their innate color, they can actually be changed to your desire.
The game consists of many dye colors that you can use, including soul-satisfying White Dye. Want to know how to make it to color your favorite items? This guide will break down the method to craft it and everything you need to know about the White Dye in Minecraft.
Making White Dye in Minecraft
Like all other Dyes in Minecraft, the White Dye serves a similar purpose: to change the color of your items. It can be crafted with two significant items you can forage. However, it requires hectic exploration before you can get your hands on it.
Still, if you’re someone who tends to stay in their own village, you can always wait for the night to fall and monsters to spawn. At night, you can hunt down Skeletons. With their bones, you can craft bone meal by putting them in a crafting table. Once you have the bone meal, you need to place it on the table again, and from the output box, you can drag the White Dye into your inventory.
If you don’t like to hunt monsters and want to play it safe, there’s a substitute to craft the white dye. You can search around the vast lands to find Lily of the Valley, a white flower. Like all other flowers, you can find it growing almost everywhere in a fertile land with many forests.
After you find it, place it either in the mini-crafting table of your inventory or the general crafting table. Once crafted, you can drag it into your inventory.
What Are Its Uses?
As mentioned before, the White Dye can be used to create various dyed items, including colored collars for your tamed wolves and cats. Goats primarily provide you with white wool, but there are some uniquely colored animals as well. To change their color, you can use the white dye.
Additionally, combine White Dye with Sand and Gravel to create Concrete Powder, which allows you to produce white-colored concrete blocks.
