How To Recruit Katsuhime (Allies) in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

Katsuhime can be a valuable ally in combat with her daze abilities. Here is how to recruit Katsuhime in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.

Allies are a great way of gaining assistance during your missions, whether they involve sneaking or fighting. Your companions provide a wide range of unique boosts, which make them worth recruiting to your league.

Katsuhime is one such ally who can be recruited by Naoe in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. Read on to know more about meeting and recruiting her.

Where Do You First Meet Katsuhime in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

Katsuhime is first encountered during the Showdown in Sakamoto quest. You will have the option to progress your romance route with her in this quest by selecting the dialogue ‘I like your teppo.’

You will meet her once again after destroying all three explosive barrels during this mission. However, nothing here influences your process of recruiting her later on.

How To Recruit Katsuhime in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

Like other allies, Katsuhime can be recruited by doing her own set of quests. Completing the previously mentioned Showdown in Sakamoto will unlock the first of four quests needed to recruit her. These four quests are:

• Requiem for Rokkaku
• Letter From Katsuhime
• The Tale of Genin
• The Diary of Lady Rokkaku

Each quest will become available immediately after finishing the previous one. So you don’t have to worry about finding or unlocking them. Requiem for Rokkaku will also become available after finishing Showdown in Sakamoto on your Objective Board, from where you can track it.

Kill Isono Kazumasa

This will be the most crucial step of this recruitment process. You will need to assassinate Kazumasa and the surrounding area guards. Furthermore, you will have to carry Katsuhime to safety.

After the above two objectives are completed, you can then proceed with carrying her to safety. After this is done, a cutscene will start where you will have to make the obvious choice of ‘Yes. Join us.‘ to make her join your group.
