Armor in Tears of the Kingdom
Welcome to our Tears of the Kingdom – Complete Armor Guide!
Armor is the pieces of protective gear which Link can wear while on his adventures. In Breath of the Wild, the main pieces of armor were generally divided up into Head, Body, and Leg slots. We expect this to still hold true in Tears of the Kingdom.
Similarly, it is also highly likely that some armors will come in sets that will offer certain bonuses when Link is wearing all three pieces. Other types of armor found in Breath of the Wild included amiibo armor, DLC armor, jewelry pieces and masks. These specialty types of armor will likely also exist in some form in Tears of the Kingdom, as well. Though they may, perhaps, fit in a different armor slot than before.
Tears of the Kingdom releases very soon – on May 12, 2023! As we jump into the game and collect armor information we’ll be sharing it here!
What to Wear
This is where we will be providing readers with our recommendations of what armors are worth acquiring and using! What sets will be most beneficial in the early game and what unlikely combinations of gear pieces produce incredible results?
Check back here after May 12th as we uncover the secrets of Hyrule!
Armor Sets and Bonuses
As mentioned above, some armor pieces will come in sets. So the design of the Head, Body and Leg pieces will correspond. Most importantly, if you equip Link with all three pieces from a single set he will be granted an additional bonus.
