Is there a Collector’s Edition of Tears of the Kingdom?
There are two versions of the game officially being sold by Nintendo:
- Standard Edition
- Collector’s Edition
Unlike many other developers, Nintendo is not trying to incentivize sales by offering any pre-order bonuses such as cosmetics or skins. However, some retail sites are offering their own unique physical additional item to those who will purchase the game from them.
However, some of these items were limited release and may already be sold out. Any who are interested should check out Best Buy, Walmart, or GameStop to discover any terms and conditions that may apply.
What is included in the Collector’s Edition?
The Collector’s Edition is retailing for a reasonable $130, and therefore it comes with a number of physical items that should make it worth the cost.
- The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom game (physical version)
- Art Book, SteelBook® case
- ICONARTâ„¢ Poster
- Pin Set featuring four badges.
Unfortunately, due to high demand the Collector’s Edition is already sold out at many retailers. While there is a small chance that more stock may suddenly become available again, it’s probably not best to count on it.
