Amazon Games made a major announcement today regarding Throne and Liberty’s global release date and open beta!
Throne and Liberty is a brand new MMORPG from game developer NCSOFT that was released in South Korea in December 2023. Now in partnership with Amazon Games, the developers are getting ready to release the game worldwide. Additionally, following some closed beta tests this past year, the game will also host an open beta later this summer. Throne and Liberty Release Date and Times
Developed by South Korean studio NCSOFT and now published by Amazon Games, Throne and Liberty will have a global release date of September 17, 2024. The game will be available in the North American, European, South American, and Asia Pacific (Japan, Australia, New Zealand) regions.
As of this post, we do not yet have official information on the exact release times for the game. These will likely be announced much closer to September, and we’ll be sure to update with that information when it becomes available.

Throne and Liberty Open Beta Date and Information
In addition to the official announcement of the global release date, Throne and Liberty also announced the dates for an open beta test happening next month. The beta test will start on July 18 at 10 am PT (17:00 UTC) and continue through July 23 at 10 am PT (17:00 UTC). Furthermore, it will be available in North America, Europe, South America, and Asia Pacific on Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
To join the Throne and Liberty Open Beta Test all you have to do is download the build from the game’s store page. Furthermore, this isn’t just a beta test for PC players only. You can test out the game from whichever platform you plan on playing the game, including Steam, PlayStation 5, or Xbox Series X|S.
Finally, the developers at NCSOFT clarified that any progress you make during the open beta test will not carry over to the live game.
