In Assassin’s Creed Shadows, there are several tombs known as Kofuns, which offer various rewards, knowledge points, and XPs. The Ancient Tomb of Nanjo is one of these Kofuns, where you can find four ordinary chests and one legendary chest. The ordinary chests contain various items like Hemp cloth, Leather, Tamahagane, Weapons, and more.

Location of Ancient Tomb of Nanjo in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

In AC Shadows, the Ancient Tomb of Nanjo is one of the Kofun located near Eagle’s Nest Kakurega in the Yamashiro region. Also, you can use Forsaken Pagoda as a key landmark to help guide you to the location. In addition to this, you can refer to the attached image for the exact details.

How To Get the Legendary Chest in the Ancient Tomb of Nanjo?

Once you arrive at the location, run down the stairs to a narrow opening. Squeeze through the gap to find an ordinary chest. Next, continue straight to reach a body of water. Cross it and follow the path until you spot a railing. From there, head right, and after a short distance, you will spot another ordinary chest.

Keep moving north from the chest to reach a pond with two stone pillars. Hop on them to cross, then dive into the water and emerge near the narrow gap towards the south. Crawl through it to enter a chamber. Then, climb the stairs and continue along the path till you see another body of water.

Cross it, climb the pillar to your right, and follow the higher path. Through the doorway, you will discover another ordinary chest. Next, continue south from the chest, and you will find another waterbody with pillars. Climb these pillars, then head west. To your right, you can collect another chest by a narrow gap.

Next, use Naoe’s grapple hook to swing across the gap and follow the straight path. Climb the pillar to reach the top, where an opening leads to another chest. From the chest, follow the path towards the south to arrive at a small opening.

Crawl through, head straight, and you will find the next set of obstacles, which require you to hop on stone pillars, use the grapple to swing across a gap, and squeeze through another gap to finally arrive in front of the legendary chest.
