Assassin’s Creed Shadows has a lot of enemy branches that will gradually unlock as you progress through the story. Other than the Shinbakufu, there are several other notorious groups of villains whom you will have to take down. The Kabukimono is one such group that you encounter fairly early in the game, and their bosses can be fairly challenging if you are not sufficiently leveled up.

The Ghost General is one of the Kabukimono in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. You can encounter him by chance before completing the necessary groundwork as well. However, you can generally find him in the Western part of Sakai in Izumi Settsu.

Where to Find Ghost General’s in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

You can find the Ghost General in the Port of Sakai, in the western part of Sakai in Izumi Settsu in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. Normally, you can find him directly in the port’s extension. However, he will also sometimes patrol the area. His path extends from the port to the Port Trader, to the entrance of the Money Changer district, and back to the port.

The Ghost General is always accompanied by a Ronin, who is a tough and aggressive enemy. As such, be prepared to take on at least two enemies while fighting him. Moreover, if you do not assassinate them, the soldiers in the Port of Sakai region will join the battle against you.

How to Defeat The Ghost General in Assassin’s Creed Shadows?

The easiest way to defeat the Ghost General in Assassin’s Creed Shadows is to stay undetected by him, get to a high ground like the roofs, and jump assassinate him. If you have the double assassination skill unlocked, you can take down the Ronin along with him in a single strike.

In an open fight, the Ghost General will use a Katana with light, flurry, and unstoppable attacks. Simple dodges or blocks will generally make the fight easy. His attacks do not have any special affliction status like poison or bleed. The Ronin that accompanies him also wields a Katana and has access to normal attacks only.

The Ghost General will immediately start attacking if he spots you, even if you have not unlocked the Kabukimono line. As such, you should focus on escaping if you are severely under-leveled for this fight.
