Umbreon ex

This card is one of the most useful cards in the new pack. It has two shining traits. First and foremost, it has the ability to pull damaged Pokemon from the opponent’s bench to the Active zone. So, you can easily get knockouts against weakened Pokemon.
Secondly, it has an 80 damage move, for the cost of two energy, which is quite cost efficient. Both these factors combined make Umbreon a force to be reckoned with.
Crobat ex

The final evolution of the iconic cave Pokemon is extremely strong for a simple reason. You only need a single Dark energy to deal 70 damage. This alone makes it one of the best Pokemon in the current ranked scenario. You can also combine this with other cards like Dark Pendant, Nihilego, Poison Barb and Darkrai ex to become even more imposing.
On top of this, it has an immense 170 HP, which will let it survive for a long time on the battle field.
Will

This Supporter Card is without a doubt one of the most game-changing ones. The ability to force your next coin toss into heads is going to be critical in many decks, old and new. Many new cards have effects which specifically trigger on the heads outcome of a coin flip.
Will will (pun intended) shift the meta in favor of many coin flip effects.
Dark Pendant

You should not be ignoring this card’s potential simply because it belongs to a niche category. Dark type Pokemon are currently some of the strongest in the game, and this has only gone up with the release of cards like Crobat (as seen above). Dark Pendant has furthered the dominance of Dark type Pokemon by making the opponent uncertain about attacking.
This card reveals a random card from the opponent’s hand and shuffles it into the deck whenever your Pokemon equipped with this tool is attacked and damaged.
Silver

No deck is complete without its proper Supporter cards. In this time, Silver will be more useful than ever. It has a two-step effect. Firstly, your opponent reveals their hand. This alone is quite decent, as you can get an idea of their hand and whether to use Red Card to shuffle their hand away or not. However, it is the second part of this effect that makes Silver strong.
You get to choose one Supporter card out of this hand and shuffle it into the deck. Many decks rely on their Supporter cards. These include Gladion, Misty, Volkner, and the most common of all, Professor’s Research. If you can shut these options down for an extra turn, that might be all you need to win the match.
Those were five of the best cards for ranked battles in Pokemon TCG Pocket from the new Wisdom of Sea and Sky set.
