GTA Online will let you earn money in various ways to keep things interesting. But here are the best methods for a passive income.
When you are starting off in GTA Online, there are not many ways to earn a lot of income. As you progress further, more options become available for you to choose from based on your playstyle and priorities.
You can do Heists with better equipment. You can run businesses that you couldn’t own before. It all just makes sense. However, where’s the time for you to enjoy wreaking havoc? After all, that’s what GTA is all about.
If you are somebody who wants to take a backseat from active earning and wish to resort to passive income instead, this article is for you. But if you are only starting in GTA Online, you might want to earn a bit to start your own Clubhouse before you can think of running things passively.
Kindly note that the list here is subject to the writer’s experience and gameplay so far. You might not also find it useful based on your priorities while gaming. But we suggest that you go through it all. You might find something worth your time.
(The list below is not ranked in any order)
1. Agency
Unlike other businesses in GTA Online, an Agency can prove really useful if you know what you are doing. Not only will it provide you with some fun contracts and payphone hits, but it will also let you sit on a massive passive income.
That’s right. If you keep completing the contracts that come with the Agency, you will eventually increase your passive income in GTA Online up to $20,000 per 48 minutes. This is a massive amount. Don’t forget that you would still be able to order payphone hits and accept contracts if you want.
2. Nightclubs
One of the businesses that you can open in GTA Online to suit your passive monetary needs is a Nightclub. Nobody cares if you are an underground criminal of Los Santos running the club. All NPCs just want to have fun.
At full potential, this can earn you $50,000 every 48 minutes. The cash goes right to your safe, so you don’t have to worry too much about it getting stolen away. While your Nightclub is running itself, you can take on other missions, heists, or simply just enjoy with your friends.
3. Salvage Yard
If you own a Salvage Yard, you may have to grind a little in the beginning. Much like the Agency, this business doesn’t let you sit and earn right away. Instead, your primary contract here is to complete tow truck missions.
Each time you complete one, your daily income will go up by $1,000. The daily passive deposit cap is $24,000. The default safe capacity will most likely be $100,000. You can later expand it to $250,000 so you don’t have to be back time and again.
4. Arcade
Opening an Arcade will be a helpful business for you. It is not the best way to earn passively in GTA Online, but it has other benefits as well. For example, you can get access to more vehicle parking, a brand-new spawning area, a place to plan the Diamond Casino heist, and even manage all your businesses from one place if you buy the Master Control Terminal for your Arcade’s secret bunker.
As for the passive income, it will only get you $5,000 every 48 minutes. It might not sound very good, but it comes with added benefits that you would love. Not to forget that you can actually play the different games on your Arcade machines here.
5. MC Club Businesses
Owning a Motorcycle Club is pretty much the start of your criminal empire in Los Santos. Things start going uphill if you manage it right. There are plenty of businesses that you can run from here. My personal favorite is the Counterfeit Cash Factory because it’s relatively easier to manage compared to some other businesses that the MC Club allows you to build.
However, if you open all MC Businesses: Cocaine Lockup, Meth Lab, Weed Farm, Cash Factory, and Document Forgery, you will be able to earn around $197,000 per hour. Most of these businesses usually don’t require much involvement.
