Roadcraft is the recently released vehicle simulator game where you reconstruct sites struck by disaster using different types of vehicles. The game’s developers are well known for their previous success, Snowrunner. As per the latest updates, there are currently no mods for Roadcraft since the game has been recently launched. However, here are the 5 best mods that might be launching soon in Roadcraft.

5. Tank Mods

It’s always fun to drive around in Tanks where they are not supposed to be driven. And driving around in an area full of off-roads and dirt feels like the perfect place to ride around in a tank. There could be Roadcraft mods for various tanks from WW2 and the modern versions of the vehicles.

However, due to engine limits, there might not be too many. But, given the developer’s track record of giving its community quite a bit of freedom for modding its games, it is highly possible you can just drive around in tanks, contributing to flattening the disaster-struck ground.

4. Monster Trucks and Mega Trucks

Similar to the previous topic, monster trucks and mega trucks are fun to drive around in. Especially in a realistic construction simulator game. However, these trucks could be used as heavy loader slot vehicles, similar to other simulation games. Either way, seeing monster trucks being used as a log loader could be a fun thing to see, as we often don’t see it in real life.

3. More Maps

Since the game relies on you completing maps and objectives, modders can always develop new maps for the community to play. As of now, many mods are still under review, and it might be for more than a month or so. This is mainly due to Roadcraft being developed in a newer engine. So, modders will have to test out various features and locks that the engine has. But, in the future, we might see maps that could be a simulation of real-life disasters as well as fresh ideas from the community.

2. Vehicle Damage and Repair Mods

Taking an opposite turn from Snowrunner, Roadcraft does not have the vehicle damage, recovery, and repair feature anymore. This might be due to the newer engine, or they feel that the gameplay might turn a bit stale due to you constantly checking fuel, damage, and repair statuses. Well, no one misses it for sure. But, for the sake of hardcore simulator players, it might be wanted. For now, mods with features from the old Snowrunner might pop up in Roadcraft.

1. Responsive Steering

A very popular mod from Snowrunner that removes the delay in driving your vehicles might be there in Roadcraft. As the driving and mechanics of the game are similar, Roadcraft modders could make this mod a reality for console players. While Roadcraft might not let you drive too fast, there could be actual maps that make it possible for road vehicles to unlock even more speed. So, responsive steering is one of the bucket list items for now.
