Finding a decent speaker on a budget for your new PC can be difficult since the market is full of either extremely costly or low-end speakers. The good ones tend to cost somewhere between $100 and $200, which can be a bit too much for budget gamers. As a PC gamer myself, I’ve been on this boat, and let me tell you, your options are quite limited. There are very few budget speakers that actually sound good, and I’ve managed to compile a list of them, which you will find below.

Note: Some aspects of this article are subjective and reflect the writer’s opinions. Also, the list is unranked.

List of the Best Budget Speakers for Your Desktop PC

Here’s the list of speakers you can buy on a budget for your desktop PC:

1) Razer Leviathan V2 X PC Soundbar

Price: $89.99

The Razer Leviathan V2 X PC Soundbar is the best sound system on this list. At $89.99, it is not that cheap, but its sound quality and loudness blow away every other speaker on this list. It has two full-range drivers with a combined power of 65W. So they can deliver a lot of depth in the sound, and the bass is on point. Even if you are watching a movie or listening to music, the vocals are clear, and you will have no issue catching the lyrics. The Razer Leviathan V2 X also features vibrant Chroma RGB effects that you can customize to your heart’s liking.

2) Sanyun SW208 3″ Active Bluetooth PC Speakers

Price: $69.99

The Sanyun SW208 is one of the most popular budget speaker systems on Amazon at this price range and for good reasons! It is equipped with two 30W carbon fiber speakers that sound louder than they are supposed to. Even at the highest volume, these speakers don’t have any distortions, and they get really loud while maintaining the same sound clarity. The bass and treble are user-adjustable, so you can tune them according to your taste. Bassheads will really love this feature. The Sanyun SW208 can also connect wirelessly via Bluetooth, so you are really getting the full package.

3) Logitech Z313 2.1 Speaker System with Subwoofer

Price: $59.99

The Logitech Z313 is a great budget speaker and only costs around $59.99. It has a dedicated subwoofer paired with two speakers and can deliver a decent sound performance. The subwoofer has 15W of power, while the two speakers have 5W of power each. This sound system has a combined power of 25W, which may seem a bit lower, but the sound clarity gets close to the above speakers on this list. However, it is not as loud as the other two above, which is its only caveat.

4) Redragon GS560 RGB Desktop Soundbar

Price: $34.99

If you are a fan of RGB setups, then the Redragon GS560 RGB Desktop Soundbar will not disappoint. The RGB lighting is fully customizable and can be set to different modes and color combinations. Don’t let its tiny size fool you. It can be quite loud, and the sound quality is also more than decent. Even the soundstage is good for the price it asks for. The only caveat is that the bass lacks the depth in sound that other speakers have. If you can ignore the lack of bass, it is one of the best budget speakers at this price range.

5) Creative Pebble 2.0 USB-Powered Desktop Speakers

Price: $23.74

The Creative Pebble 2.0 is the cheapest speaker system on this list and is perfect for people on a very strict budget. Connecting these speakers to your PC is quite easy. Just connect the USB cable of the speakers to your PC’s rear USB ports, and they will immediately receive power. Once that’s done, connect the 3.5mm jack to the speaker port of your PC’s rear I/O ports, and that’s it. Now, turn on the volume and play some music. The sound performance is okay. It’s not too great, but not too bad either. It’s great considering the price you will be paying for it.

Final Thoughts

The above speakers were chosen based on their price and the sound performance they deliver. Also, keep in mind that each model has its own unique sound profile that you may or may not like initially, but give it some time, and you will hear their true potential. Choose one based on your needs and requirements.
