How To Get Mega Latias in Pokemon GO
Upon successfully completing the Mega Latias raid in Pokemon GO, trainers will get the chance to catch the base variant of Latias. They can then mega evolve it by collecting 300 Latias Mega Energy, available from completing Mega Raids of the Pokemon. Once you mega evolve Latias, any subsequent mega evolutions will not require mega energy (post the mechanic’s cooldown period) for that specific Pokemon.
Can Mega Latias Be Shiny From Pokemon GO Raids?
Lucky trainers may encounter Shiny Latias from Mega Latias Raids in Pokemon, with a 1-in-20 probability. A Shiny Legendary is a guaranteed catch in Pokemon GO.
