Jeff’s Cuddly Fuzzlefin free skin is now available in Marvel Rivals. Follow these simple steps to show it off in Casual and Competitive Mode.
Jeff the Land Shark’s new skin is finally here for Marvel Rivals players to grab for free. This is because the little Strategist is a part of the Winter Celebration special event.
There are many costumes that players can get as part of this holiday event. However, Jeff’s Cuddly Fuzzlefin is the only one that is completely free. There is a grind, though.
Players have to explore the brand-new match mode where they play as Jeff the Land Shark and mark their territory in the Yggsgard Bifrost Garden. So, even though the skin is “free,” you don’t have access to it right away.
Instead, Marvel Rivals encourages people to play through their new special Winter Celebration event. It’s fun. Plus, I have experienced quick matchmaking for this event so far. This means that many players are busy grinding for this skin. The mode is not that difficult, but beware because there are a lot of “Jeff mains” waiting to use It’s Jeff! on you.
How To Obtain the Cuddly Fuzzlefin Skin
The developers didn’t make getting this skin easy. Jeff is an adorable baby shark, after all. He is worthy of some grind. The basic concept is that you must play through the said winter event and complete the new Challenges that the game has listed for players.
These new Challenges can only be completed within this specific mode. Check them on your Home Screen when you log in by clicking on the challenge window on the left and selecting the “snowflake” tab.
Completing certain challenges will grant you Golden Stars, while some grant you Silver Stars. Now, click on the Jeff Holiday Card on the left side of the Home Screen (right above the challenges). It’s located on the small feature notice window.
Clicking on it will take you to the Holiday Card in question. Now, you can decorate the card using the Golden Stars that you gained to earn certain winter essence or snow points. There are five elements that can be upgraded. You get 100 snow points for each upgrade.
Once you have used the required amount of Golden Stars to decorate your card by upgrading from basic to something fancier, click on rewards close to the decorate button.
Now, click on the reward that you just unlocked, based on how many snow points you gained. An animation will play, congratulating you on getting the reward.
You will unlock the following rewards before the Cuddly Fuzzlefin skin:
- Cuddly Fuzzlefin Spray (100 points)
- All-You-Can-Eat Emote (200 points)
- Cuddly Fuzzlefin Nameplate (300 points)
- How Ice Sculpting Works (400 points)
- Cuddly Fuzzlefin Skin (500 points)
