MrBeast has announced that his reality-show style series “Beast Games” has broken 50 Guinness Book world records.
Jimmy “MrBeast” Donaldson’s highly anticipated game show, Beast Games premiered its first episode worldwide on 19 December 2024 and has been one of the top shows on Prime Video. The show has reportedly broken over 50 world records but only a few have been revealed by the YouTuber. MrBeast is currently the most subscribed individual YouTuber in the world with over 338M subscribers on the platform. He has previously broken and set many records himself.
In a X post, promoting the show, MrBeast announced that Beast Games has one the biggest sets in entertainment history. He also said at the time of posting, the show had reportedly broken over 50 records. There has not been any confirmation of new records as of this writing. He also announced that Guinness has dropped off “some of the world records” they broke while filming Beast Games.
In another X post Jimmy listed some of the records that he is most excited for after asked by a fan. The YouTuber responded with:
“Largest cash prize Most contestants Most cameras ever Most money given away in a first episode Most cables ran for a show Largest island given away in show Etc”
Some users questioned the legitimacy of these records by stating if they were just made up for. Others praised Donaldson for the records and stated that more records are yet to be broken. Users on X also criticized MrBeast for the allegations regarding the alleged mishaps during the production of the show. MrBeast has not yet revealed what the records are and how many records have been set by the show.
Other World Records Broken by MrBeast Besides Beast Games
MrBeast broke the record for being the most-subscribed Individual Male on YouTube, and on November 17, 2022, he set the Guinness World Record with 112 million subscribers. The record was previously held by PewDiePie for over 10 years. He is currently the most-subscribed YouTuber in the world.
MrBeast has also broken the world record for the largest vegetarian burger, though the video was not released by him. He also broke the record for Most Participants in a YouTube Video, In his “Squid Game” video, he broke the record by involving 456 participants, matching the original Netflix series.
