Popular streamer and FaZe Clan member, YourRAGE has called out AMP member Fanum after the latter made claims about Kick streamers.
Popular live streamer and FaZe Clan member Joshua “YourRAGE” has called out Roberto “Fanum” amid controversy over Kick streamers. AMP member Fanum claimed that Kick streamers failed to elevate their content despite receiving hefty payouts. Felix “xQc” had also called out Roberto over his claims. YourRAGE stated during his stream that streamers already had money before joining Kick and were not expected to elevate their content on the platform.
“Do n****s think we’re just some f**king broke bums that Kick picked up off the street? We had money before Kick, gang. We didn’t need money to elevate sh**.”
Earlier in December, Fanum claimed that Kick streamers received hefty payments but failed to elevate their content. He mentioned that Adin Ross was the only one on the green platform who improved his content after getting paid. In his statement, Fanum stated:
“Ni**as definite got their bag over there, but who from the Kick community got the bag, went over there and elevated their content? Like, ‘I took this money that Kick gave me and I elevated my content with it and I really became something.'”
In response to Fanum’s claims, Josh explained that Kick simply wanted streamers to continue doing what they were already doing on Twitch. He also clarified that he isn’t Kai Cenat and pointed out that Kick streamers won’t be hosting “celebrity guest streams” or moving between houses. During the stream, Rage added:
“Kick wanted us there to do what we were doing on Twitch on Kick, gang. We’re not Kai Cenat. We’re not going to be f**king doing these all these celebrity guests f**king streams, f**king jump over houses and sh**. We’re not doing that, gang. We’re not. We’re not doing that.”
Community’s Reaction to YourRAGE’s Comments
Several clips of YourRAGE’s statement went viral on X. Some users suggested that Josh joined Kick solely for the money, while others accused him of taking shots at Kai Cenat. However, Rage later replied with a clip explaining what he meant when he said he was not Kai.
The initial post with Rage’s comments gained significant traction, receiving over a million impressions on X. Others also defended Fanum’s comments, stating that most Kick streamers misunderstood his comments. Some comments on the post stated:
“this lowkey shade at Kai ngl,” wrote @FusionDailyy.
“Yourrage content, is watching others peoples content lol,” stated @V1CW1LL.
“That wasn’t even what Fanum was trying to say, you don’t gotta be someone else to elevate. It’s just like when a NBA player gets a contract and elevates his game yea he can keep doing the same thing but when it comes to next contract that’ll be looked at. It ain’t a hard concept,” @DjRussell13_ commented.
Earlier in December, xQc and Fanum also went back and forth over the latter’s Kick claims.
