How To Get Gildane in Palworld

Discover how to get the Ground-type Pal Gildane, one of the newest additions to Pocket Pair’s Palworld introduced in the Feybreak update.

Palworld’s Feybreak update was rolled out recently, adding a new map and exciting features. It also brings several new Pals to the survival crafting game. One of the newly added Pals is Gildane. Pals in Palworld serve a variety of purposes, such as providing supplies at the Ranch, performing tasks at your base, acting as mounts, or accompanying you as companions during battles.

Gildane is a Ground-type Pal used to ride as a land mount and drops leather when defeated. The Pal looks like a Greyhound covered with golden fur and can be found and captured in the wild. Moreover, the Pal can also be obtained by breeding several Pals and hatching a Huge Rocky Egg using an Egg Incubator. Although not a strong combatant, it still serves as a decent companion while fighting.

Where To Find Gildane in Palworld

Gildane can be located in various locations throughout Feybreak Island. Look for the Greyhound-like Pal all over the edges of the map in the desert areas. The exact spawning locations of Gildane can be seen in the above image. You can also check the spawning locations of Gildane in-game via the Palpedia section by switching between day and night.

However, there are several places where you can easily locate Gildane compared to other spots. The following are some of those:

You will find Gildane roaming around the west of the Scorched Ashland fast-travel. This area is located north of Feybreak Island at coordinates (-840, -835).
The next reliable Gildane spot is north of the area where you encounter Foxparks Cryst Alpha boss. This area is located far west of Feybreak Island at coordinates (-1303, -1259).

When you encounter a Gildane, you can either defeat the Pal for leather or capture it to keep as a companion. To capture a Gildane, reduce its health to its lowest point and make sure not to kill it. Then aim and throw a sphere at the Pal to secure the capture.
