In this Marvel Rivals tier list, we tier all of the four skins you can currently equip Wolverine with in the game.
Marvel Rivals features a massive roster of characters from the Marvel Universe duking it out in a 6v6 shooter setting. Taking into consideration the storied legacy of Marvel and all associated media, it comes as no surprise that the roster is colorful, ripped straight out of their comic book panels. These characters also come with multiple skins, allowing you to dress the characters based on iconic moments.
Wolverine is one of the most beloved characters in Marvel history, molded by several writers, artists, comics, movies, fans, and more. He has four skins in Marvel Rivals at the moment, all a celebration of the character’s rich history. These four skins are:
- Wolverine Default skin
- Wolverine – Deadpool & Wolverine (2024) skin
- Wolverine Lone Wolf skin
- Wolverine – Blood Berserker
Except for the Deadpool & Wolverine (2024) skin, all of these skins are original designs exclusive to Marvel Rivals. These skins offer no competitive advantages (or disadvantages) and exist purely for cosmetic purposes. Below, we have assigned all of the Wolverine’s skins to different tiers based on our opinion.
Tier | Wolverine Skin |
S | Deadpool & Wolverine (2024) |
A | Blood Berserker, Default |
B | Lone Wolf |
S-Tier: Deadpool & Wolverine (2024) Skin
Deadpool & Wolverine was one of the biggest movies of 2024, and it comes as no surprise that Wolverine’s costume from the movie made it to Marvel Rivals. The costume is fairly classic Wolverine, featuring the iconic cowl and a black, blue, and yellow body suit. This is the costume we all grew up on, and this is how we love our Logan. Simple yet vibrant, the Deadpool &Wolverine iteration of the classic Wolverine costume sits at an S-Tier.
A-Tier: Blooder Berserker, Default Skin
At A-Tier, we have two costumes: the new Blood Berserker Costume and the Marvel Rivals Default Wolverine costume. The Blood Berserker Costume sees Logan dressed up as a Dracula hunter, with his aesthetic being a grim concoction of Western and Biker. Wrapped in leather and metal chains, Logan sports a grey beard, finally showing his age, yet losing none of his ferocity.
The Default costume is the total opposite of the Blood Berserker, featuring Logan’s iconic yellow and blue in a contemporary fit. Wolverine wears a jacket sporting yellow and blue at the top, and cool modern sneakers at the bottom. Logan may be old, but he is timeless.
B-Tier: Lone Wolf Skin
Make no mistake, despite sitting in the B-Tier, this skin is beyond amazing. Yet, what holds it back is that it is a simple color swap of Wolverine’s Default Marvel Rivals costume. Wolverine’s original brown and gold costume in the comics is just as iconic as the yellow and blue, presenting Logan in a grittier form befitting his rage.
Yet, the costume’s contemporary recreation does not do the brown and gold justice. We would’ve liked to see a different take on the costume instead of a simple (and quite frankly dull) color swap.
