UFC fighter Islam Makhachev confronted Kick streamer Adin Ross after the latter called Russia a “village.”
Kick streamer Adin Ross visited Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) fighter Islam Makhachev for a collab stream on January 11, 2025. During the livestream, Adin made remarks about Russia being a village and potentially not having Wi-Fi.
Makhachev, who is from Russia, called out Adin for his comments and invited the streamer to visit Russia. After being confronted by Islam, Adin agreed to visit Russia and hinted at a potential livestream in the country in the future.
The fighter had a one-hour question and answer (Q&A) session with Adin Ross where he answered questions from fans. The Kick streamer said he is also working on bringing his Brand Risk boxing event back to Kick in January 2025.
Islam Invites Adin Ross to Visit Russia
Adin Ross visited Islam at a mixed martial arts (MMA) training facility. During the livestream, Adin asked:
“Is there Wi-Fi in Russia? Like to stream?”
Islam was not present in the conversation, but his friends and colleagues informed him about Adin’s comments. The UFC fighter came and told Adin:
“Everything you find in the US. They (Russia) have there.”

Adin said he will visit the fighter in Russia for another livestream. Islam responded:
“Come soon. You think Russia is a village, no?”
Later in the stream, Islam brought up Adin’s comments a second time. The streamer apologized and said:
“I’m sorry. I’m sorry. I’m gonna come down to Russia with them watching. So they can know Russia is not a village. Cause that’s what I thought it was.”.
The Kick Streamer is Relaunching Brand Risk Boxing
During the livestream with Islam, Adin Ross talked about his plans for January 2025. The streamer said that he is bringing back Brand Risk boxing events that feature popular content creators from Kick, YouTube, and Twitch. Adin was on a hiatus in late 2024, and he returned in January 2025.
He announced it on December 20, 2024:
“Eddie, you’ve been nothing but so right to me as a partner in this sh*t, and you’re great, bro. You believe in Brand Risk, and I know you want to see this sh*t go to the moon. I think we’ll make something so big out of this, bro. We’re going to Brand Risk on Kick, one million percent, no matter what.”

During his January 11, 2025, livestream, Adin Ross confirmed once again that Brand Risk is returning “next week.” The streamer said he will announce the fighter lineup once he returns from his trip to visit Islam.
