IShowSpeed is currently in Ecuador where he tried the traditional dish “cuy” which left him in utter shock.
YouTuber Darren or IShowSpeed is well-known throughout the world, majorly due to his streaming tours. In the past, the streamer has traveled to Southeast Asia, India, several European nations, and most recently, Australia. In December 2024, he revealed that he would be traveling to South America for the second time.
IShowSpeed is currently on his South American tour. He is now in Ecuador after making headlines about his Guatemala stunt. In Ecuador, Speed ended up trying their traditional dish “cuy” and was shocked to know what it really was after he ate it.
Additionally, a video of IShowSpeed went viral where he was seen trying the traditional Ecuadorian dish. After he took a bite, he was seen asking others what it was, as he initially thought it was just chicken. When the onlookers told him that he was actually eating a hamster, he went in shock.
“Alright chat, let’s try cuy, the best chicken in Ecuador. It is chicken? Is it chicken? What is it…A hamster? A hamster?… A rat? Okay, okay, okay, okay. It is good. Wait, wait, wait, what is this?”
However, IShowSpeed later said that it was actually good. He confirmed it twice if it was really a hamster. He was visibly concerned and shocked at the same time.

IShowSpeed Hand of God Stunt
With another amazing stunt, IShowSpeed, who is well-known for his spectacular antics, has captured the attention of the internet. On January 14, 2025, he executed a risky backflip from the statue known as the “Hand of God,” which was situated atop a mountain in Antigua, Guatemala.
Before trying the backflip, IShowSpeed cautioned his audience about the risk involved. He said,
“Okay, this is very dangerous, I am about to do a backflip off The Hand of God. If I fall, it’s over with.”
Despite the obvious risk, IShowSpeed successfully executed the backflip and celebrated with a victorious scream. Moreover, fans who watched his live feed were shocked by his reckless approach to dangerous stunts.
