A True Musou Attack is a type of powerful attack in Dynasty Warriors Origins that can only be activated while in War God Rage. Each weapon type has its own version of this ability in the game. This means you get a different gameplay experience based on the weapon type you are using. However, you can’t simply use this ability in combat. Furthermore, this special attack will also immediately end War God Rage. You need to strategize whether to use it early or wait until the duration is over before going for a finishing attack.

How To Activate True Musou Attack in Dynasty Warriors Origins?
You can only use a True Musou Attack while in War God Rage. During its duration, pressing the skill button for Musou Attack (“R” button on PC, “B” button on Xbox, and “O” button on PS5) will fully deplete your Musou gauge to unleash a powerful strike. Be careful when activating this ability as you might not want to end your War God Rage too early while in combat with waves of enemies. Alternatively, if you allow the gauge to deplete naturally, the ability will activate automatically.
If you press the Musou Attack while not in War God Rage, you only activate a regular Musou Attack.
How To Use War God Rage in Dynasty Warriors Origins?
To activate War God Rage (“T” button on PC, LS+RS on Xbox, and L3+R3 on PS5), you need to fill up your Musou gauge first. It’s a blue bar in the bottom left corner of the screen. Over the duration, your character will be immune to any form of damage. Additionally, your character will also have increased range and attack power.
Furthermore, Battle Arts will consume the Musou gauge instead of Bravery points. It’s really good for dealing massive damage and controlling the battlefield. However, this is a temporary buff, so make sure you use it strategically.
Companions can also use War God Rage when you swap to them. However, keep in mind that swapping characters out will require a full Musou Gauge.
