How To Find Onion Seeds in Palworld?
Onion Seeds and plantations were added to the game through the Feybreak update. Here’s how you can get the seeds:
- Dropped by Pals
- Found in the world

1. Dropped by Pals
Like many other resources, you can find Onion Seeds by capturing or directly killing certain Pals. However, the seeds aren’t guaranteed to drop. Also, you might stand a better chance of acquiring the Onion Seeds by capturing Pals and then slaughtering them using the Meat Cleaver. Alternatively, you can use the Pal Disassembly Conveyor to maximize your chances of getting the seeds.
The following are certain Pals that are known to drop Onion Seeds:
- Mossanda
- Cinnamoth
- Vaelet
The easiest Pal to find among these is Cinnamoth. You can simply visit Moonless Shore to encounter these creatures frequently. Another important thing to remember is that all the Pals mentioned in the list are Grass Type, which means they have an inherent weakness against fire. So, make sure to choose appropriate companion Pals, such as Blazehowl, when going up against them.
2. Found in the World
You can also discover Onion Seeds out in the world while exploring. They may be found inside certain chests that you loot. However, it is a lot easier and quicker to get the seeds as drops from Pals.
How To Build an Onion Plantation?
The option to build an Onion Plantation unlocks once you reach level 36. You will need the following materials to start the plantation:
- 3x Onion Seeds
- 5x Pal Fluids
- 50x Stone
- 70x Wood
Once crafted, the Onion Plantation acts as a regular stream of onions. The resource is used to create recipes that offer beneficial effects. Make sure you assign a Prunelia to your base to ensure the onion harvesting process is faster. Alternatively, you can invest in a Pal Labor Research Laboratory to accelerate the farming process.
Recipes That Require Onions
