Diablo 4 has been well received by the fans after its release in 2023. Blizzard’s online action RPG has satisfied its fan base in more ways than one, and Dungeons is one of them.
Let’s take a look at what Dungeons are, how to reset them, and why you need to reset them.
What Are Dungeons in Diablo 4?
Diablo 4 has 115 Dungeons in it. From the hilly Fractured Peaks to the deserts of Kehjistan, there is no shortage of Dungeons in the game. Dungeons are structured mini-levels, providing a variety of challenges and a boss fight at the end. The activities include: activating gate controls, freeing prisoners, wiping out all the enemies in an area, collecting Animus, finding and returning Bloodstone, etc.
No two Dungeons are the same. They vary in the objectives they offer and the rewards afterward. Dungeons typically offer Experience, Gold, and Renown. Moreover, most Dungeons unlock a Legendary Aspect in the Codex of Power—to be put on a Rare Item.
Keep in mind—some Dungeons can only be accessed once a Stronghold has been cleared.
How To Reset Dungeons in Diablo 4?
Why, you may ask? The obvious answer would be to max out your character. Doing Dungeons is the easiest way to farm good loot as you go on your main quest to defeat Lilith.
Blizzard had previously removed the “Reset Dungeon” button. However, it was reintroduced when Season 1 commenced.
Here is how you can reset the Dungeons:
Solo Reset
Okay, being Captain Obvious here—be sure not to be inside the Dungeon while resetting it. Leave the Dungeon you want to reset if you are already inside. After that—open your map, expand the Journal tab on the right side, and you’ll find the Reset Dungeons button.
Reminder: Do not use the town portal from inside the Dungeon. Either exit the Dungeon on foot or select “Leave Dungeon” from your action wheel.
Group Reset
The Dungeon is reset if the group leader leaves the party. Another player from the group can invite everyone and invade the reset Dungeon.
