Ways To Get Artificer’s Stones in Diablo 4
There are multiple different ways you can go about trying to get Artificer’s Stones in Diablo 4. These are:
- Complete Whispers of the Dead Bounties: One efficient way to farm Artificer’s Stones is by turning in Whispers of the Dead bounties. These bounties reward you with Grim Favors. These can be exchanged at the Tree of Whispers for Whisper Caches containing Artificer’s Stones.
- Conquer Nightmare Dungeons: High-tier Nightmare Dungeons are another reliable source of Artificer’s Stones. Completing these dungeons in Diablo 4 often rewards you with stones found in the Consumables tab at the end.
- Engage in Helltide Events: Helltide events provide a chance to farm Artificer’s Stones by defeating enemies and opening chests. While not the most efficient method, it can still provide a steady supply.
- Participate in Legion Events: Legion Event Chests can also grant you Artificer’s Stones. However, due to their time-gated nature, they may not be the most reliable source.
- Defeat World Bosses: World Boss events can yield Artificer’s Stones as a reward. Like Legion Events, these are time-gated and may not always be accessible.
- Complete Infernal Horde: The Infernal Horde activity is an endgame challenge. The Horde rewards Artificer’s Stones upon defeating the Fell Council or opening the Spoils of Greater Equipment or Spoils of Materials.
- Utilize the Seething Opal of Torment: This consumable elixir boosts the chances of enemies dropping Artificer’s Stones for 30 minutes. Using it during your play sessions can increase your stone collection rate.

How To Use Artificer’s Stones
Artificer’s Stones are primarily used to unlock the Pit of the Artificer. To do so, travel to Cerrigar in the Scosglen region. Here, you can interact with the Artificer’s Obelisk on the west side of town. Spend your Artificer’s Stones to open the portal and access the Pit of the Artificer.
