Poppy Playtime fits an engaging horror-adventure journey in an unlikely location, the insides of a children’s toy factory. Something is seriously wrong in this factory and it is left up to you to sort through the mess while taking on some of the most terrifying characters.
If you have been looking to start your journey in Poppy Playtime, you would probably be curious as to the length of entire experience. In this guide, we’ll tell you just how long it takes to beat the game based on whether you are a completionist or a more casual gamer.
How Long To Beat Poppy Playtime Chapters
Each Poppy Playtime chapter is different when it comes to their lengths. First, let’s check out all the chapters.
- Chapter 1 – A Tight Squeeze: 1 Hour
- Chapter 2 – Fly in a Web: 2 Hours
- Chapter 3 – Deep Sleep: 5 Hours
- Chapter 4 – Safe Haven: 5 Hours
As of this writing, the game has four chapters. Now, let’s take a look at each of the chapter lengths and how long you’ll need to beat them.
Chapter 1 – A Tight Squeeze
The first chapter of the game is also the shortest to date. It will take you around an hour or one and a half hours to reach the end of this chapter. You may take longer if you are trying to collect all of the videotapes lying around in this chapter. However, besides these collectible items, there are no other optional activities to do in the starting chapter.
Chapter 2 – Fly in a Web
The next chapter is slightly longer, with the main quest alone taking up about 2 hours of your time. However, if you are a completionist and want to see all that the chapter has to offer, you may need up to 3 hours to reach the end.
Chapter 3 – Deep Sleep
This one is a significantly longer chapter. You will need to set aside around 5 hours to finish this chapter, even if you pursue only the main missions. But, if you are looking to extend the fun, you can opt for 100% of the chapter, which will take you about 6 hours in total.
Chapter 4 – Safe Haven
The fourth chapter has been released on January 30. The latest chapter also seems to sport 5-6 hours depending on how thorough you are throughout the levels. Like the previous chapters, you will need longer if you want to see and do everything available in the chapter.
Poppy Playtime is available on the PC, PS4 and PS5, Android, Apple, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch. However, the latest chapter, Chapter 4, is only available on PC through the Epic Games Store and Steam. It will eventually be released on other platforms too.
