Collect Special Stars, travel to the Moon, and unlock exclusive pets. Follow this step-by-step guide to claim your Royal Moon Egg.
The Royal Moon Egg is part of the Lunar Event in Adopt Me which requires five Special Stars to obtain. These stars spawn daily in two locations — Adoption Island and the Moon.
The Moon Egg and Royal Moon Egg are both available during the event. The latter is harder to get but holds exclusive pets. Players must travel to the Moon using the spaceship on Adoption Island. The vending machine there exchanges five Special Stars for one Royal Moon Egg.
Hatching won’t be available until February 7, 2025, so stock up now. The more eggs collected, the better the chances for rare pets.
How to Get the Royal Moon Egg in Adopt Me
Step 1: Collecting Special Stars
Every day, two Special Stars appear in the game. One spawns on Adoption Island, while the other spawns on the Moon. You must find and collect them both. Since only two stars appear per day, gathering five will take at least three days.
Missing a day slows progress, so log in daily and grab the stars as soon as they appear. Stars do not stack, meaning if you don’t collect them in time, you will miss out on that day’s spawn.
Step 2: Traveling to the Moon
One of the Special Stars spawns on the Moon, so reaching it is necessary. Follow these steps to get there:
- Go to Adoption Island and locate the spaceship (located near the play area, slightly to the right of the starting location).
- Approach the platform below the spaceship and press the interaction button to board it.
- Do not try to enter from the top, as that is not the correct entrance.
- Once inside, the spaceship will transport you to the Moon.
Once you land, find the Special Star and collect it before leaving.
Step 3: Redeeming the Royal Moon Egg
After collecting five Special Stars, head to the Royal Moon Egg vending machine on the Moon. This machine allows you to trade your Special Stars for a Royal Moon Egg.
- You can collect multiple Royal Moon Eggs by gathering stars daily.
- If you don’t have five stars yet, return each day to continue collecting.
- The event will eventually end, so it’s best to gather as many eggs as possible while they are available.
Step 4: Hatching the Royal Moon Egg
The Royal Moon Egg cannot hatch until February 7, 2025. Until then, it will remain in your inventory.
Once the hatch date arrives, every egg will contain one of eight new pets. The more eggs you have, the better your chances of unlocking rare pets.
Always check both spawn locations to avoid missing any Special Stars. Also, collect as many Royal Moon Eggs as possible before February 7, 2025. Don’t forget to keep an eye on event updates in case any changes occur. Follow these steps carefully to secure your Royal Moon Egg before the event ends.
