All hope is not lost for fans waiting for GTA 6 as Rockstar Games owner Take-Two Interactive shares more info about the upcoming title.
Take-Two Interactive, the owner of Rockstar Games, confirms that the highly anticipated GTA 6 remains on schedule and will keep its release window with no delays. The upcoming sequel to the Grand Theft Auto series is arguably one of the most hyped-up titles in 2025. Lots of fans have been asking for a second trailer to the point of making wild theories about the next teaser for the game back in 2025.
As Rockstar Games remains radio silent on the next big reveal for GTA VI, fans worry and claim the publisher might cancel or delay the game. Fortunately, this is not the case, as the developer is still aiming for a Fall 2025 release for the highly anticipated title.
GTA 6 Is Still Releasing This Year, Along With Other Big Rockstar Games Titles
It’s been a decade since the release of GTA V, and fans believe it’s high time for a sequel to launch. With years of speculation, leaks, and Rockstar’s continued silence, anticipation for GTA 6 has reached a fever pitch. Many are eager to see how the next installment will push boundaries in open-world gaming, especially after the industry has evolved significantly since 2013.
Is GTA 6 Delayed?
Through an investor report, Take-Two Interactive shares its plans for Rockstar Games this year along with its upcoming major titles. This includes a confirmed GTA 6 in development, launching in Fall 2025. Strauss Zelnick, Chairman and CEO of Take-Two Interactive, had the following to say about their upcoming calendar year:
“Looking ahead, this calendar year is shaping up to be one of the strongest ever for Take-Two, as we plan to launch Sid Meier’s Civilization VII on February 11th, Mafia: The Old Country in the Summer, Grand Theft Auto VI in the Fall, and Borderlands 4.“
Rockstar Games Unveils a Massive Year of Game Release This 2025
Other notable game releases include Civilization VII, launching on February 11, 2025. For the summer season, fans can look forward to the release of Mafia: The Old Country. Furthermore, alongside GTA 6, Rockstar Games is also releasing Borderlands 4 sometime in the fall. Nonetheless, this year features a stacked lineup of heavy-hitting titles from Take-Two Interactive’s iconic publishing label.
Despite this, fans have yet to witness a 2nd GTA 6 trailer or any form of teaser. Fans will have to keep their eyes peeled for more details in the future. Hopefully, we won’t have to wait long for the next big reveal of Rockstar Games’ most awaited title.
