Kai Cenat, who recently announced his future plans with Kanye West, said that he won’t go ahead with them amid the rapper’s recent controversy.
Kai Cenat, a popular Twitch streamer, announced during one of his broadcasts that he plans on a meeting with legendary musician Kanye West, who is supposedly working on his new album, BULLY. Despite their history of failed collaborations, Cenat expressed faith in the collaboration’s success, praising West as “highly responsive” and their conversations as productive.
However, after coming across Kanye’s controversial tweets and statements, Kai Cenat announced that he will not be doing his upcoming streams with the rapper. The streamer clearly looked shocked and disappointed at the same time as he questioned what was happening. He said:
“I get it, Kanye! Okay chat, imma go ahead and address the elephant in the room. I seen the tweets my ni**a, I seen the tweets bro, I seen the tweets. I don’t know what is going on? Kai Cenat addressed the issue when he came across a Reddit post that read that the streamer should not go ahead with the streams with Kanye. The post also talked about how Kanye says things that neither the streamer nor his audience would agree with. The writer also showed concern about Kai’s image and what impact the collaboration might have on that as people might think that the streamer agrees with what Ye is saying.

Kai Cenat just met and hugged Kanye West during the 2025 Grammys. Many netizens expressed an interest in learning more about how the two interacted. The Twitch streamer had previously announced to his audience via livestream that the music awards ceremony had invited him to perform an IRL stream, and he was excited about it.
Kai Cenat was spotted outside the 2025 Grammys site while doing his livestream. After seeing Kanye West and his partner Bianca Censori approach, he exclaimed with excitement, “Oh my god!” and whispered, “He’s right there!” several times.
West was then seen greeting other people around him when the 23-year-old streamer went up to him. Their interaction seemed to be friendly. Kai said:
“How you doing, Ye? What’s going on, Broski. I’ll see you at the event tonight.”
