Twitch streamer Pokimane shut down speculation that she was in a relationship with fellow content creator Ellum.
Twitch streamer Imane “Pokimane” Anys recently moved in with fellow content creator Josh “Ellum” Bingle. It led to fans speculating that the two content creators were in a relationship with each other. Pokimane shut down the speculation during a 48-hour livestream on February 10, 2025, clarifying that she is “happily single.”
She asked her audience to stop assuming that she was dating someone because of on-stream interactions. The content creator said that fueling speculation is disrespectful and viewers don’t need to know their favorite streamers’ relationship status.
The streamer added that people of different genders can be friends without being romantically involved. She said she is sorry that her viewers “clearly never experienced this.”
Pokimane Addresses Rumors Surrounding Her Relationship Status
On February 10, 2025, Pokimane revealed that she moved in with Ellum. She brought Ellum to her room during her broadcast and introduced him to her fans. Internet users started speculating that the content creators were in a relationship, which prompted her to respond:
“Please stop assuming i’m dating someone just cause we interact, i’m happily single and it can be disrespectful to the guys because y’all don’t always know their relationship status! i’ll update y’all when i get married tho.”

Despite shutting down the rumors, some fans blamed Pokimane for living with a man and fueling speculation. She responded to one internet user on X:
“Do you live in the 1800s? women and men can be friends, roomies, coworkers, etc, without being romantically involved. i’m sorry you’ve clearly never experienced this lol.”
The streamer moved in with Ellum so she could be closer to her friend from OfflineTV (OTV). She left the content group last year to pursue her career goals on her own. However, she is still friends with OTV creators and appears in their content.
Who Is the Streamer’s New Roommate?
Pokimane’s new roommate Ellum is a British content creator who appears in Sidemen videos. While he is not a Sidemen member himself, he frequently appears in Olajide “KSI” Olayinka Williams Olatunji’s videos.
Ellum focuses on casual gaming and speedrunning content. He also has hundreds of react videos on his channel. The YouTuber has over 1,200 videos and over 98,000 subscribers. Ellum started his YouTube channel in 2020 featuring Among Us and Call of Duty content. He then switched to games like Among Us, Fall Guys, and Roblox.
His Twitch stream has over 200,000 followers, and he streams in the Just Chatting category. Ellum often collaborates with OfflineTV creators, including his new roommate Pokimane. The two content creators have collaborated on YouTube and Twitch since 2023 before moving in with each other.
