Tyler1 and Macaiyla have been in a long-term relationship since the two met in 2017 during a streaming session.
Online streamer Tyler1, also known as Tyler Steinkamp, is popular in the community. He has over 5 million Twitch and YouTube subscribers and is well-known for his skill in League of Legends (LOL). Missouri is the gamer’s home state. Tyler1 met his long-time girlfriend, who is also a gamer, during a streaming session back in 2017.
Although the 25-year-old streamer has been sharing content since 2014, it took him two years to gain widespread recognition. Through her association with Tyler1, his girlfriend Macaiyla has also become a well-known figure on the internet.
In 2019, before returning to Detroit for a comical appearance at the League of Legends Championship Series finals, Tyler1 took a break from streaming to enjoy a sunny vacation at Turtle Bay on Oahu with his partner of three years. It seems that Tyler1 proposed to Macaiyla prior to his collaboration with Riot Games on the humorous mid-game segment.
Tyler1 and Macaiyla’s Daughter
Over time, the two have emerged as one of the most popular couple streamers on the platform. Tyler1 confirmed a miscarriage with his wife in June 2023. Following the miscarriage, the pair remained strong and decided to wait until Macaiyla’s health improved.
The couple kept to their word, and upon her feeling better, they tried to have a child again in late 2023. After finding out that the couple was having a baby girl, Tyler1 made the public announcement on social media, and fans all over celebrated the news.

Macaiyla Gave Tyler a “Reality Check”
In the midst of the latest OnlyFangs World of Warcraft Classic Hardcore drama, Macaiyla has spoken to the streaming community. A 42-second clip appeared on the r/LivestreamFail subreddit on February 10, 2025. Tyler1 claimed that his partner gave him a “reality check” by saying that he was played by OnlyFangs guild members “for clout.” He said:
“Caiyla hit me with a reality check. I play with these people, I’m like, ‘These guys for sure have my back.’ Caiyla is like, ‘They’re probably after you because they’re playing for clout.’ Bro, really? Was that what they were doing? Is that true? Like, is that how just the world works? I genuinely thought these people would f**king plant their goddamn feet! It’s crazy, bro!”
In an update on X that same day, Macaiyla expressed her curiosity about why the Missouri native had mentioned her in the WoW controversy. In the MMORPG, Macaiyla claimed that OnlyFangs streamers worked with Tyler1 to boost viewership. She said:
“I don’t know why Tyler brought me up for his WOW drama. But obviously reddit is going to nitpick it. I have a daughter. I don’t have time to watch full streams. There are absolutely people that were playing with Tyler for viewership. He is bad at the game. He is a new player. He has zero comprehension of the game as a league player. Why else would they want to play with him. Why are you acting like I’m a villain for stating the obvious. Be serious now.”

Additionally, the 26-year-old said that since she was 17, the Reddit community has been “spreading misinformation about her.” She then advised everyone to “take everything with a grain of salt.”
