Twitch streamer Kyedae Alicia Shymko informed her audience that she was rushed to an emergency room (ER) for hours on February 11, 2025. Her doctor suspected that she had an ovarian cyst and needed to evaluate her. After hours of testing, the medical staff concluded that she had an ovarian endometrioma (chocolate cyst).

According to the Cleveland Clinic, endometriosis is a condition where tissue grows inside the uterus and causes painful menstrual cycles. It causes pelvic pain and affects a person’s ability to get pregnant. It is a common medical condition that affects about 10% of individuals who menstruate.

After posting multiple updates, the streamer said that she was okay and returned to her regular streaming schedule. Kyedae is waiting for an obstetrician-gynecologist (OBGYN) appointment to find out more about her condition.

Kyedae Shares Details About Her ER Visit on Instagram

The Twitch streamer shared her experience at the ER via her Instagram stories. Kye said she had to get a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) test done to determine the type of cyst she had. After diagnosis, professionals at the ER told her that she needed to visit an obstetrician-gynecologist. She updated her fans saying:

“Yay we got discharged! Got an MRI done and it’s an endometrioma. Going to see an OBGYN in a week to see what next steps are. Anyways that’s the end of the kyedae health diaries. Bye for now.”

The streamer is waiting for her appointment with her OBGYN next week. Not all forms of endometriosis require treatment, but in many instances, doctors recommend medication or surgery.

The Streamer Underwent Cancer Treatment in 2023

In March 2023, Kyedae informed her audience that she was diagnosed with leukemia (blood cancer). She apologized for her inconsistent streaming schedule stating:

“I’ve recently been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (cancer). I’ll be starting up treatment very soon. With that being said I’m not too sure how my body will react to the treatment so I do apologize in advance if my stream schedule isn’t consistent!”

The streamer revealed that she didn’t tell her family about her health condition as soon she found out about her Leukemia. After weeks of treatment, she updated her fans that she was “super sad” and just wanted to play Valorant with her friends.

She underwent chemotherapy for six months and recovered by September 2023. Kyedae told her audience that she was still under medical evaluation. During her treatment, Kick allegedly offered her a streaming deal to move platforms, but she decided to stay on Twitch.
