MrBeast launched his Beast Games in collaboration with Prime Video. The series recently wrapped up and has produced a lot of viral moments.

YouTube star Jimmy “MrBeast’s” Beast Games Season 1 has come to a wrap on February 13, 2025. The game show series had a total of 10 episodes. The show, which started with a whopping 1000 contestants, came down to just six in the last episode. Given the number of people involved along with Jimmy and his team hosting the show, it was no surprise that the series had amble amounts of drama, conflicts, and surprises.

This article will list five such dramatic moments from the show that went viral.

Here Are 5 Dramatic Moments From MrBeast’s Beast Games

1) Player Loses His Team $5 Million

In episodes 6 and 7, there was a dramatic match-up between two teams — Team Orange and Team Pink. Towards the end of episode 6, MrBeast presented them with a physical task. Both teams had to send one person to hang from a high position. Whoever dropped first would not only eliminate themselves but also their entire team. As it turned out, Team Orange went with Player 435, and Team Pink went with Player 453.

Unfortunately, after a minute and 40 seconds, Player 435 lost his grip and dropped, meaning his entire team was eliminated (Team Pink progressing). This loss was also quite heavy on the purse for them as they missed out on a whopping $5 million.

2) Contestant Accuses Another Player Of Racism

Episode 7 featured another dramatic and controversial moment. Player 539 was given the opportunity to win a Lamborghini in exchange for eliminating three players from the remaining group. Ultimately, he chose to eliminate three black women — players 952, 626, and 182.

Player 952 was visibly upset and accused Player 539 of being racist, as all three players eliminated were people of color. Despite these accusations, other players cheered him on, seeing that he was quite emotional, and expressed their support for him.

3) Contestant Seemingly Sabotages His Team

In episode 3, titled The Solitary Experiment, groups of three were locked inside cube-like boxes. The task required the three players to mutually agree on eliminating one of them, or else all three would be eliminated. One of the boxes had a particularly dramatic outcome, involving players 379, 883, and 1000.

After deciding to create their own game, where each player threw a bottle cap at a bag in the corner, Player 379 ended up as the loser. However, he backtracked on his promise and chose to eliminate all three of the players in the box, despite having agreed that whoever lost the game would self-eliminate.

4) Player 974 Doubles Prize Fund To $10 Million

In episode 9, a dramatic moment unfolded. MrBeast presented the remaining participants with the opportunity to double the prize pool from the original $5 million to $10 million. A coin flip would determine this. The catch was that if the player called wrong, the prize pool would stay at $5 million, and the player would be eliminated.

As it turned out, Player 974 volunteered to make the coin flip, having done so earlier in episode 3. He called tails, and the coin landed on tails. This resulted in Beast Games becoming the first-ever game show with a whopping $10 million prize pool.

5) Player 831 Wins Beast Games Season 1

The most dramatic moment of the entire show came in the final moments, with only Player 831 and Player 830 left in a 1v1 situation. The last challenge tasked Player 830 with shuffling a box of briefcases, one of which contained the $10 million cheque. Player 831 wore a blindfold, so he had no idea where the correct box was placed.

The host asked Player 831 to choose one of the shuffled boxes. Although he wouldn’t have been eliminated if he picked the wrong one, he selected the box with the $10 million cheque, making him the winner of the first season of Beast Games.
